Dr. Louis Agnone has been practicing Gastroenterology for over 20 years, and he joined the Borland-Groover Clinic in 2007. He completed his Fellowship training in Gastroenterology in 1989. Dr. Agnone has been an active staff member at both Halifax Medical Center and AdventHealth Daytona Beach, and he currently is Medical Director of the Surgery Center of Volusia and managing partner of Borland-Groover Clinic’s Port Orange office location.

Dr. Agnone received his undergraduate degree from Duke University and his medical degree from University of South Florida. He completed a Residency in Internal Medicine & Fellowship in Gastroenterology from the University of Illinois, Chicago. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and consistently receives the AMA’s Physician Recognition Award for continuing medical education.
